Description
Imperial Torrija is a double brown ale full of flavor aimed at honoring a classic sweet pastry from the long history of Spain: La Torrija. Its scent emphasizes the delicious aroma of a freshly made Torrija with hints of citrus, cinnamon and caramel filling your nose. Notes of caramel, honey, toasted oats, cinnamon and orange are encountered in each sip leaving you reminiscing of that childhood snack your grandmother would lovingly prepare for you.
Imperial Torrija earns your love with a dense and creamy body thanks to our inclusion of oats and lactose. Its elevated alcohol content is experienced in aftertaste along with lingering hints of caramel, citrus, and a slight hoppy bitterness.
